1. ÈDÈSSENTIAL – AN AFRICAN LANGUAGE COURSE – YORUBA. -THE JUNIOR CLASS SYLLABUS

The Junior Class syllabus is a pack of 24 classes(Typically, the Junior Class syllabus would not run over for more than an extra 4 weeks). TFJ develops pupils’/student’s communication skills in Yo uba., Students learn Grammar, Reading, Comprehension and Writing and more significantly fun facts about African Culture – The Yoruba Culture to be specific.

The Curriculum content and progression is specifically developed by TFJ. TFJ also develops Progress Reports to track students’ individual attainments and progression steps. Plus, this, Students of course receive immediate feedback of their learning while in class. Most importantly however, Lessons are reviewed, adaptable and flexible. This simply means, previous learning is constantly mixed and matched with new learning. The progression is individual.

TFJ Edessential is essentially a speaking and listening class. Students develop oral and written communication skills. TFJ incorporates regular reviews of student performance with the recognition of the fact that Students’ have a wide range of learning styles.

2. TFJ ONLINE SAFETY POLICY

TFJ safeguards its pupils/students by ensuring that: members of staff are trained; Pupils and students have a 15minute induction session. During training and induction TFJ states the general Staff and Student Code of conduct. TFJ ensures pupils/students understand the benefits and risks of online lessons. TFJ Staff are trained about how you to deliver remote lessons. Tutors encourage positive behaviour and discourage inappropriate behaviour. Most importantly, TFJ works to deliver classes within an enjoyable and peaceful atmosphere.

3. CHECKS

Tutors are accepted based on a successful application, interview, references and having a certified Police check Tutors are trained by TFJ for a minimum of 12 weeks. Plus this, tutors have Continuous Professional Development.

5. CODE OF CONDUCT

On provision of a tutor, clients agree to approach the director for complaints. For any concerns, please make a notification by email. They will be addressed promptly. If the concern is regarding a Tutors delivery TFJ would endeavour to sort it out. If concerns persist, TFJ would endeavour to reassign another Tutor. If TFJ is unable to reassign this class would not be charged.

TFJ will endeavour to resolve all complaints as fairly and speedily as possible. Formal complaints will be dealt with in a sensitive, impartial and confidential manner.
